MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Categories of membership now include:
- Active registered, professional nurses currently employed in occupational
and environmental health
- Retired members retired from occupational and environmental health
- Student a registered professional nurse enrolled as a student in a program
of study related to occupational and environmental health or a student in a professional
nursing program and interested in occupational and environmental health
- Affiliate a registered professional nurse not eligible for active status,
but interested in the field of occupational and environmental health and the purposes of
AAOHN; or others, not eligible for active status, but practicing in the field of
occupational and environmental health and interested in the purposes of AAOHN, such as
Licensed Practical Nurses.
A membership application may be downloaded from the AAOHN website at www.aaohn.org.
All membership categories can attend meetings, participate in activities and serve on
committees. Only active members may vote and be elected to an office.

AAOHN-approved educational activities provided by sponsors at the local level, and by
